He still wont reflect on how poorly vick played, he is an obstinate prima donna who wont take any blame for his poor judgment in signing vick, or for his bad play calls, I cant stand his narcissistic attitude....

 

Looking forward to seeing what he can do. I think we'll have most of our explosive offense back now with him at the helm, but we'll also see some turnovers because he isn't as timid as Vick was at pressing the ball downfield. Let's hope our OL can give him the chance to make some reads and exploit our advantage.

How often to coaches throw their players under the bus in a press conference? It seems like you just want vindication when in reality, Vick's play doesn't matter because we won the game and Landry or Ben is starting this week.

 

Exactly. Vicks play won a game and should of been 2. Record of 2-1 says that coach did his job!

Come on man. You hate that he doesn't bash his players or himself? Why would you want a coach that does either of those things?

Vicks hammy will keep him out till Ben comes back, even if it is healed. Ben goes down again, Tomlin will say Jones gives us a better option cause he knows the playbook better. I think Vick played his last down as a Steeler.

 

Every single time I see his press conference, I hate his face even more.
If Vick wasn't hurt, I think he'd be playing this week & that just pisses me off. I don't understand what Tomlin sees in Vick. There's NOTHING good about him. He just SUCKS.
I know Landry only played a half. But things went a lot smoother with him back there. Also- he actually threw a ball where our guys could catch it. He did way more than "manage the offense, he ran the offense." Vick did neither.
I hate that the Steelers pretty much keeps coached until they retire. I don't see what the Rooneys see in Tomlin. They went from Noll to Cowher to Tomlin. That's like going from an Franco Harris to Jerome Bettis to Dri Archer. I don't care if we go 16-0 next season & win 2 Super Bowls in a row. I'll never like him or the crap decisions he makes.

 

The tackling dummy would have been smarter too! Since I'm going to this game I'm a little down that Ben wont be playing but I hope the rest of the cast is back. I can't wait for this weekend. If it looks like we are going to lose this game I will streak naked on the field to distract the refs!
