That loss is looking real bad right now the Ratbirds are 1-5, and are facing 1-6 they play at Arizona on MNF next week. Damn you Scobee, all you had to do was make one of those FGs and the Steelers would be 5-1.

More to blame than just Scobee, but you are right. If Bryant plays, we might have won. Vick? Bad play calling by not using Bell?

In hindsight... Landry may have been the start to make vs. Baltimore. But if I said that then, I'd probably be stoned to death as if this were the year 233 and I had just stolen someone's best cow

Well, good thing is Scobee is gone because of that. We have a young guy that might be better than Sushi.

Also, if Landry starts against the Ravens, we don't know how well he does. It's all speculation. He may have been plastered all over the field. I truely believe that Landry (not saying he didn't do extremely well) benefited from a defense that didn't have anything ready for a QB that could actually run the Steelers offense.

They literally just stacked the box and run blitzed very running down. Totally convinced they were not ready at all for an actual passing game attack and they paid for it dearly.

Yeah, that one hurts. The Ravens are really bad this year. I know anything can happen in rivalry games, but that one sucks. It keeps us two behind a good Cincy team in the division standings and adds a second AFC loss, which could hurt us if tie breakers come into play down the road.

It's pretty hard to imagine an 0-6 Ravens team, but that's exactly where they could/should be. They have lots of holes to fill. It seems crazy, but they are serious contenders for the number 1 overall pick.

Well, in perspective, that loss against Bal was the factor to keep this team with hunger and focus. Most of our past 2 Ws have been on that.
Also, the game vs BAL was useful to learn a couple things about our team, one of them: we needed another kicker if we wanted to win future -and more important- games.

Yes, it looks bad, and we all hate to lose, particularly against that bunch of ·$&$·"%·"!. But probably it was a blessing in disguise.

I would have sent Scobie out there one final time at the end. Percentages tell me that he could have made the game winning kick but then that just means we would have been staying with him had he made it.

I think this is a good point and something to keep in mind this week. KC has a week to prepare for Jones. I certainly want to see him go out and light them up but we still have to keep things in perspective.

Maybe we just call the Baltimore loss.... our Oakland loss of the year..... and make up for it by beating Oakland.

Bottom line is: Having Landry Jones, even if KC has 1 week to prepare, will unload the box. And that will get our running game going.

I second that suggestion. Toss it into Tomlin's suggestion box, and let's see what happens.

I actually think we will win most of the games were supposed to. There seems to be real motivation and poise across much of the roster this year.

if we had to pick one
losing to the Ravens or Chargers Im glad we beat the Chargers because in the end they will be a team competing for the wildcard not the Ravens. Time to move on

We are 2 games behind cinch...balt is irrelevant. We will beat them in our next encounter. We have to sweep cincy

Yeah, a bad loss, but all in all I think we have been both lucky and good so far this year. I did not think we would win one game while Ben was hurt, but now I`m real happy I was wrong and we are 4-2 and Ben may be ready to return.

We have much to be thankful for and the sky is the limit.

Well. stack me up in the "bitter bitter man" column, I'm still steamed at the coaching in that game. Horrendous.
    No excuse for that loss.

The Ratbirds are must wins in my book ever game every season.

Yep, I agree. The Ravens are irrelevant and will be even more irrelevant when we whoop their dupa on December 27th in primetime, baby!
