I have been a long time supporter of Landry since the very first early unwarranted bashings that he often took. Always wanted to see him do well but was becoming more of a skeptic lately. Lets hope he can keep this offense rolling the way I think and hope he can.

 

I was a little too, I had incorrectly assumed that the coaching staff knew better than me. But that was all washed away after Vicks first game. I still don't get it.

 

I'll eat some of that crow, didn't think he would do much either. He looked good, but man Bryant had a nice game back too. Seems they have a nice connection.

 

What's weird about all this is that Landry was doing his best disconnected unemotional (cough cough) Joe Flacco-esque imitation on the sidelines to the point the announcers even commented on it in contrast to how much BB was actively engaged in the game and the offense play calling. What a wonderful 180.

 

He does need some new shirts for post game interviews though.

 

Maybe his good shirts were in the... erm... laundry...

 

Running with 1's has to exhilarating. No QB would look good running with the floor mats in pre season.

 

He shocked me in a great way today, I fully admit it. I was also thrilled for him. He has been the most universally bashed Steeler since his drafting and some of that was warranted. He has only played against 2nd and 3rd stringers and looked awful. However I guess he was playing WITH 2nd and 3rd stringers too. I didn't think the kid had it in him but he did today. Hopefully it's just a sign of things to come. He may very well have another chance next week.

 

I'll have a serving of that crow too. Nobody hated this pick more than I did. I was wrong and I'm glad I was. Hope that he's the backup to Ben from this point forward.

 

That's the kind of shirt you bring to the stadium when you don't think there's a chance in the world you'll be interviewed afterward, lol.

Having said that, I kind of liked the shirt though.

 

REALLY?? After less than 30mins of play and a 7YD pass that the rec. turned into a 88 yd TD. He has proven to you he is #7 replacement. REALLY?? Show me something next week than the week after that.

Huh? I just said I hope he's the backup to Ben from this point forward, as in he moves ahead of Vick on the depth chart. Ben will play five more years. His replacement is likely a senior in high school right now.

 

I'm sorry, Ender. I think it's me that Myron is upset with since I suggested LJ may be the heir apparent to Ben. He's taking it out on you and in the spirit of the thread, I apologize for that.

LJ looked confident when he came in. He just looked ready. Watching the close ups they were showing it did not seem like the moment was bigger than him. Great Job LJ!

 

Are you kidding me? Did you see the post game presser? "Dirty"had no idea he was getting in that game.
