The injury didn't look pretty, but ironically Kelvin Beachum's knees are consistently rated among the prettiest knees in the league

Beachum has a torn ACL per Tomlin. His Steelers career is likely over he's a free agent in 2016, probably should've signed that contract extension for security.

That sucks. I liked Beachum but that injury is devastating. I feel bad for the guy. He was a hard worker. Could have been paid well. Not sure that happens now.

Stinks but part of the game unfortunately. There seems to be a lot of injuries around the league today.

He was really solid. His quick feet was his strength. Even with Ben coming back, this news might kill us. I mean we have absolutely no one behind Beachum. Sorry for him...but more sorry for Ben cause he might not be able to get 1 second after the snap before he gets destroyed.

Did you hear AV's name called after he came in? No? That's a good thing!

That stinks but Villanueva filled in well. Hopefully that continues with his good play.

AV is has the size to play LT in this league and I don't think Beachum was going to come back next year anyways. At least this way we know if we have something in AV or if we have to look elsewhere.

IDK, do you think this could actually increase the chances that he re-signs with the Steelers since other teams could shy away from a LT with less than ideal size coming off a major knee injury?

Anyone know the status/return of Mike Adams? We have no depth right now. Not many veterans available I'm sure.

I wouldn't mind if the FO poaches from another teams practice squad for a change. May be a younger guy, but it could fill the void for now. Dallas, St Louis, and Denver have some prospects on there. I'm sure there is one or two more.

Jet's still have Munchak's Johnson too

If he gets healthy before next season they may be able to sign him to a 1year deal, then he could test free agency in 2017.

I think so. Probably safe to assume this injury cost him a chunk of money.

I was thinking the same, the Steelers have to reach out and get it.

Beach is either a cheaper re-sign or we add LT to the list of high draft picks, which sucks. I wanted to concentrate on DB/NT in the first few rounds. I hope the monster (Villanueva) can play well; he certainly looks the position and I don't think I've ever seen a more interesting player story.
