the really sad thing to me is that in the case of D Williams he went to the league and asked if he could be allowed to wear pink the whole season to honor his mother and because breast cancer awareness is something he feels very passionately about. He followed all the proper channels and did things the right way, then you look at Mr. Golden boy Brady and the circus around the deflated footballs where you clearly has a case of a guy not following the rules, not following proper procedure and doing things in a sneaky and underhanded way and he is basically now being rewarded for that. To me that just screams messed up.

Probably why Cam didn't ask, knew theyd say no after turning Williams request down. If he asked and then did it anyway, fine would probably have been bigger.

Good for you Cam, it was a nice gesture :applaud:

Galling all of it.... Especially with having the NFL accept payment to honor troops! Pathetic, and on our bill as taxpayers!

    Thanks Rodge...
Way to show how much compassion the league has for issues off the field, that matter more than
    your bottom line...

It`s always easier to ask for forgiveness, than permission..,

Unless you`re dealing with "The Commish"...

Totally agree with this. NFL didn't make any money off of this so that had to get theirs through a different avenue.
