Why is Landry Jones on the team?

Neither Vick or Grad is under contract for next season, so maybe they go in a different direction for backup QB.

 

The Zona game will be telling... As to wether or not the coaches will pull Vick if he's stinking up the joint again that is. It may not be an option as Zona has a nasty D. Hope Vick can wear the cape another week, but he's got a heck of a test this week as does our D. I don't know that he makes it out of the game intact.

Some are saying Ben may suit up but I hope not. It's too early to rush stuff and I don't want him getting messed up any worse than he already is.

 

I was actually okay if they would of pulled Vick before starting the 4th quarter. I think even Sims said something about that.

 

I hope Jones has been saving his money because the Steelers have shown him the door after allowing Vick to continue Monday even though he was struggling so bad up to the finale drives. Yes he came through when it counted but if Tomlin thinks Vick (who's been with the team for 7/8 weeks) gives the team a better chance of winning over a guy that's been in the system for 3 years, it shows they have no faith in him other than to play backup QB to Vic during practice.
