Yeah, Sammie! Important to get that first one out of the way. Give him a taste of it, and keep him hungry for more. I hope he gets a hat the rest of the season. No reason to have 6 RB's on our actives list. If all Archer is going to do is return kicks then give his gameday spot to Coates.

 

The name of the game is PRESSURE the QB !!! I like Butler.s aggressive D. With a few tweaks this young D is going to get better each game. Sit Jarvis, cut Bum Cam and play Cockrelle.

Back to the OP`s point...

Seeing Ben walking without crutches was awesome...

I thought he was done for the rest of the year, when I saw his knee bend the wrong way,
and him drop the football to grab it... He almost NEVER lets go of the football, while being sacked.

I also don`t want him to RUSH back.. we need him. We know he is tough...

We`ve seen him play with a broken nose, etc...

We also have seen him come back too soon, and not be effective...

The best thing I saw, was a 13-7 halftime lead, WITHOUT him...

Granted, the Cravens ain`t what they used to be, but, we were getting the job done, even without him(and Shazier, etc.)...

It was 20-7 early in the 3rd...

On a night when we looked FAR from our best...

Make a couple field goals... or one of 2 fourth downs, in the 4th quarter/ overtime, and we put Baltimore at 0-4...

Yeah, it hurts that it didn`t happen, but going in, I didn`t believe we even had a chance, on a short week with a back-up qb...

We showed, we CAN do it...
Now we just have to...

I have a feeling we will look much better in sunny San Diego...

Even if we are nowhere near what we would be with Ben...

No surprise there.

Rivers is going to be a challenge, and we better keep our eye on Woodhead, and Antonio Gates, but...
