The best thing I saw from the game last night.

Ben Roethlisberger was able to walk around on the sidelines. I thought for certain that he would be up in the booth with crutches near by.

This is a huge relief from what could have been. I don't want to rush him back but the way he looked last night he may be back sooner than we think. He is one tough dude.

I second the sentiment about Ben walking being a very good thing. On the field, the best thing that I saw was the aggressiveness and performance on pass defense, both rushing the passer and in coverage. Some mistakes were made, but many of the gains that Baltimore got in the passing game were the result of them making plays more than our guys messing up. It wasn't a championship level performance in pass defense, but the difference from Week 1 to Week 4 is huge. If we keep improving on the back end, we will be solid the rest of the season.

I like a lot of what I'm seeing from Cockrell. It's hard to believe that he was a cast off just a few week ago. He did give up the TD, but a lot of NFL corners would have been beaten with that throw.

Might have to use some pain killer and a knee brace but he could be ready for our next game, after seeing his shocked look after we lost that game last night, he might be thinking the same thing, no doubt he would have smothered the rats on the score board last night if he had played, for damn sure there wouldn't have been any OT.......

Ben with no crutches, throwing passes. Don't be surprised if not San Diego that he is back for the Cardinals game.

Tuitt: This kid is becoming a force.

I'd rather have him NOT play the Cards, their defense would just put him back in the hospital

They are ****ing nasty (and I mean that in a good way), I don't want them to go after a hobbled Ben - remember the game @SF a few years ago?

I'm not going to give the defense a ribbon, but I do like SOME of the things I am seeing from Butler's blitzes... definitely changing it up from Lebeau.

That call where Cockrell got the INT was great! I'm also liking his delayed blitzes with the safety, its been a while since I have seen that one run effectively, maybe the Capers early Lebeau days?

I agree. Despite being gashed in the running game, I feel very good about our defense. If they can stay close in the standings until Ben gets back, the second half of this season could be fun.

Loving what I am seeing from Cockrell as well. We'll also be able to keep Boykin under his snap count and save a 4th rd pick.

The best thing from last night the aggressiveness of the defense 5 sacks and 2 turnovers, much better than the bland crap LeBeau was doing the last few years. Coates making his first catch, Tuitt could end up being better than Heyward, Cockrell looks like a keeper at CB.

And the run defense may get better when Mt. McCullers comes back, you think?

A Hot Dog w/ your name on it?

Cockrell, what's in a name, looked decent. He gave up the big TD but he was on track all night. Could we've possibly found a CB w/ some potential?

I like the pressure our defense is manufacturing but we CANNOT give up 6ypc to ANY RB for the rest of this season. We made Forsett look like Dorsett!

Cockrell was a bright spot for me as well. The second brightest, as a matter of fact. The first brightest is Tuitt. He comes to play and I feel great about him.

Agreed. Tuitt is not only looking good on the field but seems like, dare I say it? A Steelers guy. Your right, good feelings for him going forward, both on the field and in future dealings with the Rooneys I think.

Forsett actually ran for like 1300 yards last season. I didnt know that either until another member pointed it out.

But yeah, they have to fix that.

I thought he had a decent year but didn't realize he rushed for that many yards. Forsett is still no Dorsett, lol.
