    The Steelers have promoted LB Anthony Chickillo to the active roster. DE C. Lyons has been cut.

    Chick mostly worked at OLB in the preseason, unless they plan a move for him to ILB, I would have to agree with Lizard and his addition may bolster the special teams.

    Does he play the same ST positions as Spaeth? That could be the deal there. That and the Harrison thing you mentioned earlier too.

    moats can go to the inside though if needed, then chick could take his spot, not chick on the inside.
    or moats moves inside and chick would then backup outside. most likely the harrison thumb though.

    one thing though, it leaves us light at DE again. :cool:

    It's gotta be nerve-wracking to be on the back end of the roster. The number of LB's and RB's we have on the active roster is pretty unusual from years past.
