It was announced today that the St. Louis Rams have reached a trade agreement with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Rams will send one slightly used wet/dry shop vac that was fished out of the Mississippi River after Hurricane Katrina in exchange for two free weight benches held together by duct tape.

The shop vac seen here in a picture from CBS sports will immediately be put to good use in securing the 10,000 tears of loyal Steeler fans in the hopes of creating a miracle cure for Big Ben.

The Steelers felt that giving up two iconic pieces of Steeler's history was necessary in moving forward in this football season but are saddened by their loss.

Don't worry, After the Rams move back to LA they are going to need that vac back for the construction of the new stadium. Retrade;)

Glenn I know you said things were bad in St. Louis but I didn't think they were so bad they resorted to a dumpster dive for a shop vac. lol

I was hoping that something with the vacuum would have been the "Caption this" for this week.

Guy in gray pants.......We're going to turn Big Ben's knee this way.

Guy in Blue.......Yea, but this will be where they put his bust when both are in Canton.

In all seriousness they must have some type of machine they use to clean that turf. Not sure why they didn't bring that out.
I don't think most people at the game had any idea what was going on.
My son said they put the fire out with a fire extinguisher and that was what they were cleaning up.

With just a couple of slight modifications, that shop-vac could be turned into V.I.N.Cent from The Black Hole.

Thorn that's the post of the year! Nice! They rolled out that raggedy POS, turned it on and dust came flying out :lolol: No attachments. What an embarrassment...

No doubt! And best yet, with a quick snap-on attachment exchange, they use the same device as their Zamboni over at the Blues ice arena and to lay down foul lines at Busch Stadium.

At a penny for a thought, this series is still short of a dime.
