I feel 1000% better with the BA running back situation this season than last season. Williams was without a doubt one of the best FA signings Colbert has done. Going to be scary as the B's get back from suspension with what the offense can do.

Definitely seems like more of a team player and a better signing than Blount. Gotta' give Colbert credit for re-signing DHB as well.

And how about that tough run by Jordan Todman at the end? We are way better off this year than last year with our RB depth.

I thought you were gonna say Cam Thomas. Oh well. LOL. I actually said during the gameday thread that Williams was the best by a mile.

Williams is solid and a keeper going forward. Bell Williams tandem alright!
    DHB looked good today too.

Thus far Scobie looks shaky but maybe he'll come around too. I like they go get what they need right away.

DWiLL is playing like a stud. Great pick up by the FO. He and Bell are going to be the best backfield in the NFL.

I really won't be surprised if they don't try out some more kickers. It's so lame that Suisham got hurt.

Williams is playing like he has something to prove. And that's pretty refreshing after Cam Thomas et al.

When Bell comes back next week, I hope the Steelers coaches have thought about how to use D Wiliams, he should get at the minnum 10 touches per game.

Every running back is different with respect to getting warmed up. Perhaps 10 touches is to few for Deangelo to get going in high gear

I knew Williams was good he has been banged up for years .When he is healthy he is a stud .I had full confidence in him from the beginning . I think Haley should insert a split RB package with 3 WR'S both of these guys can catch both of these guys can run . I would also run a empty double wing set.

Me and a few Coaches put together a playbook from the empty wing as we named it 10 or so years back and it would be deadly with the talent the Steelers have . The trap game and the trap pass are incredible from this set .Also the RB swing pass,Curls,Outs, and Seam passes are great. This set still has a full route tree with 3 WR'S .

I am looking in that playbook right now and with our talent I would expect to score 35 plus a game...As the RB talents evolve I expect to see this type of stuff in the future . The key to this Offense is pulling Guards and Versatile RB'S the Rb's must be able to run inside they must have vision they must have power and be good as a pass catcher. We have 2 perfect fits....

Williams is looking like a great move on Colberts part.
I think Farrior may have been Colbert's best FA signing.

Skobi was one of the better kickers in the league the last couple of years. I don't think they will be looking, not sure why he is missing, maybe getting used to the holder.

In any event it sure is nice that he can kick it into the endzone deep. Something we haven't seen for years. That alone can help as we don't have to look at our pitifully kickoff coverage team very much.

I don't know if you can count Harrison since he had already been a Steeler 3 times before that.

If we're counting UDFAs that were never on another team, Harrison.

If not, I don't know if I can choose between Farrior, Clark, and Hartings.

    Love DeAngelo, though.
