Shazier isn't going to play safety  they drafted him to play ILB and that's where he will play.

By that logic, you make excellent message board posts because you have so many.

Believe it or not, there's more to the game than tackling statistics.

Totally agree if there was any thought by the team to move him he would have lost 10 pounds instead of gaining 10.

I did not pay much attention to him during the game, but his performance must not have been PP which is what some expect. Actually, from a lot of posts he did okay.

Oh! PP. I threw that in for laughs but believe it or not in the acronym dictionary it was there---like at about 180 out of 223. I didn't expect it. Pxxxpoor:smiley1:

1 tackle. Dupree had 2, 1 sack. Dupree played more snaps then Moats. Harrison played more snaps then Jones. Nothing stood out to me. Need to see more from Jones, and hope we do. The Defense as a whole was sub par.

I think Von Miller also only had one tackle and no sacks yesterday. While Jones didn't have a good stat line I think he played very well, like it was a continuation of his play from last year before he got injured.

---Maybe so, but if you watched the game [Den-Bal] Von Miller was in on Flacco numerous times. Frequently, just missing. To Flacco's credit he was frequently under heavy pressure and in the arms of a defender but somehow managed to avoid the sack and got rid of the ball etc. Of course, most of those throws were off target but at least no sack was made. Frankly, the importance of this pressure can't be underestimated.

This was not the case in the NE-PIT game. Stats, as many here have said, only tell a piece of the story.

Q? For some reason the quote reply only does a part of the post. So I tried copy and pasting the post instead.
