I would say it is unlikely that an AFC North team gets a Wild Card no matter how many free wins the Browns are giving away.

Strength of schedule is way harder this year. Those NFC West teams have solid defenses (maybe the Niners won't now).

Steelers or Ravens take the division likely. Bold prediction right? Ravens had some key losses in the offseason.

Another season without at least a playoff win would be really disappointing.

It depends on how hungry they are for it, and I think they're very hungry, especially Ben. I never count this team out.

I'm afraid it's gonna be a long long year. If Brady look at tape of us, he's licking his chops & probably can't wait to pad his stats. Just like what Ryan Clark said, I'm hoping for the best but the preseason was a nightmare void of any hope ...unless Ben can score over 40 points per game...

I'm not sure where all the high expectations came from for this defense? I mean we have a new coordinator along with a bunch of young guys starting. If you thought these guys were going to come out and shutdown everyone they play their first couple of games than you were looking through black and gold glasses. I for one was banking on the offense winning the games this year, not the defense. The reason I am down on this team right now is because of the absence of Bell, Bryant and Pouncey. After Bryant and Bell get back I'll be happy to see steady improvement from the D throughout the year.

Who knows how the season plays out. Every team is one bad injury away from the first pick overall. I think the Steelers could be anywhere from 6-10 to 12-4. A lot depends on injuries and if the defense progresses. Keep in mind he is getting paid now to make outrageous statements. He does after all work for the TMZ of sports...

I'm pretty sure he was licking his chops last season in his season opener against the dolphins but he lost 30-20, then 3 weeks later he was going to have a feast on the chiefs but lost 41-14 and even the bills beat him last year, he cant walk on water, and he isn't unbeatable....

"Several" people on the sports networks are saying the same thing.
They forget that most teams are playing like crap right now.
Like I've said and always will, if the team is motivated and has a lot of heart, we can do great things this year. If not, all those talking heads will be proven right.

We will unless we score the ball and score it often. Our D is just very bad and that's a fact .

The nation thinks our goose is cooked week one. Brady's mad, Brady this, Brady that, yadda yadda yadda.
Hope for the best so on and so forth. We can beat em. I don't have a lot of faith in the D, but I do believe they will surprise us this year in a positive manner. Hopefully they're fired up and prepared as well as they can be. Wins and losses come and go, but heartless performances in games is getting old. Best wishes go steelers!
