    While I'm waiting for mod approval I'll add that I'm a 3rd generation fan. My grandfather and father were from the Burgh but I was raised in Toledo. In SC now.

    Welcome to the board. This site has long been a refuge for fans coming from elsewhere. It started as a new home for fans that came from the old official boards that died due to organizational neglect. We've since picked up many fans from other sites/boards that either died or imploded.

    I think you're correct that you must know at least some people here. Good luck on reconnecting. ;) (Hell, you look familiar to me, but this is the only board I post to. I used to just lurk on other forums)
