In case anyone hasn't been paying attention, Brown/Bryant/Wheaton have been pretty unstoppable in training camp, practice, and preseason games. Remember when the self-titled "young money" were here and we thought we had our core WRs for the next decade? I think our current lineup is even better. Brown is fantastic, Wheaton has great hands, speed, and seems to have drastically improved his rapport with Ben, and Bryant is tall, fast, and doesn't seem to have hands problems like some thought he had coming out of college.

The other WRs don't really matter unless one of the top three gets hurt, as we won't be seeing any of the top three coming out of games for the 4th or 5th WRs.

I am excited to see if we can get three 1000 yard WRs this year. It is quite possible (maybe even 4 with Bell? Ben would have like 6000 yards passing then)

    True.

And hopefully someone knocks off all that "young money" **** as soon as it even starts to appear.

Ben had his best season last year in Todd Haley's offense and the WR group should only be better. I'd like to see that unfounded 30 point bench mark become a reality. If that happens then we could be 14-2.

This team seems as though it should be a matchup nightmare on offense. And while this can certainly be a quick strike offense that could put up 30+ a game, I think it's best if they play ball control. I think many would agree that at this point, the offense is probably the more talented unit on the team. Not hanging the defense out to dry and making them play 35+ minutes a game will go a long way to the success of this football team.

I agree Cajun, i'm tickled with our offense and we will definitely ring up some numbers, that being said...how will our defense fair?

Maybe we need to do some tire kicking collectively ourselves on the otherside. How is this D going to perform against other high-powered offenses?. Is the pass, run protection going to be adequate, if not when? About the redzone (gold line stance) covering the edges? How about our corners, safeties? Can we seriously match the once talented players to hawk the interceptions, turnovers that we all long for.?

Point i'm making here is, we need the complete package we've played lopsided way too long. It's sad when we get the fuzzy comfortable feeling and too confident then we start experiencing the trials and tribulations. We have issues on this defense that needs fixed from yrs. ago. I predict mid-term ( if injuries stay @ a min.) the coaches as well as players will have the ground work ready for a good run!

This offense should be scary and has had that ability for awhile now... Gonna depend on the line. They are improved but we're still the Achilles heel last January when it mattered. Also if we figure how to play in the red zone and quit settling for shooting 3s. I'm excited, but we'll see. Need to get rid of the bone head penalties as well ala brown explicitly pushing off a db last game against Green Bay when he didn't need too. False starts holding etc... We always shoot ourselves in the foot! I'm hoping the D will atleast show up... We could be contenders this year folks.

If the O-line plays like they did in that playoff loss to the Ravens then they won't be hard to stop.

The key is balance to a degree along with running with different looks and sets. Now if a team is set on stopping the passing game we need to be satisfied with the ground game and vice versa. The biggest concern is the red zone. If the offense can score TD's instead of settling for FG's I think that will definitely help the D because teams will hopefully be playing from behind and be forced to be one dimensional.

Should be fun to watch and hopefully ends in a SB 50 victory!

After watching Bell's growth from year 1-2 I am extremely excited to see Bryant on the field this regular season. I love defensive football games but damn, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited to watch this high powered offense.

Simply need to attack opponents weakest points. Be aggressive go for 2 more often . Use more multiple WR sets that expose the depth of other Teams .We have a deep set of WR'S if we go 4 and 5 wide most Teams can't cover that. Ben used to not be a great pre snap guy or a great quick read guy, Haley has helped him tons in that regard .

When we intend on running or going to the screen game we should use the best blockers we have at WR . That 1 extra block is usually the difference between a 10 yard gain and taking it to the house. I know some wonder why I value a blocking WR so much it is for that very reason. There is only 1 Football not everyone can be the target a lot of WR'S who don't get the targets don't run their routes as hard nor do they go all out to make a block.

Coates, Bryant, and DHB are all good sized WR'S and should impact the game with their blocking ability. Brown and Bell are masters of running in open space and Wheaton looks to be getting much better. My plan would be to get those 3 the ball as much as possible and throw a few deep ones to the other 3 from time to time to create space, maybe even a WR screen or 2 .

I hope we can run the 1st. few games without Bell ,but if we can't I hope the Team just gives it up and pulls the TE'S and goes 5 Wide, no need to pretend to run if we can't, that cost us the Ravens game .Just use the WR screen game as the running game and force them to deal with our deepest position.
