One bit that we lost that game the way we did. Don't you all find it just a little funny how we played that last play in OT??????

Look at that last drive we had??? Moved the ball pretty well down the field, and BAM we all of the sudden we looked like rookies. No time out was called, Ben just happen to get sacked out of field goal range, and so on.

OMG, a field goal would have won the game,but wait thats not how the script was written.

The script was written so that SOB Tebow could win in a glorious fashion. I mean come on they just didn't win, they won making us look like idiots. Say what you want ,but ive been watching football for 34 years now, and im am convinced games are fixed.

BTW, Funny how our injuries happen pretty quick in that game to.

 

Well, think of how long the NFL has been around. There has been alot of players over the years, I am pretty sure if they fixed games, that it would have probably come out by now. That is impossible to do when you have 53 guys per side that you have to draw up the scheme with and tell everyone to keep their mouths closed. hahaha. It could never happen and if it did, we would know about it!

 

These conspiracy theories are really starting to irritate me. The Steelers lost, man. It happens. Deal with it.

 

Interesting observation. It's a little farfetched (IMO), but gosh - you couldn't have written a better script for a nationwide story.

I have never thought that games were "fixed" - however, I have no problem believing that the league has a certain way that it wants things to turn out.

You need to watch the replay. The ball never even got to Ward. The ball was tipped by the defender covering him, and went out of bounds.

That is exactly what makes this loss hurt so bad is the fact you're never going to hear the end of it! The entire off season will be the "Tebow Magic", I can't even turn on the NFL network or ESPN, because everytime I do it only takes 3 seconds and Tebow's name is metioned and then the dramatic fashion in which he beat the Steelers... I hate this and it looks as if it will be a long off season unless they keep winning.

how bout the saints-lions game too?? looked pretty much like the NFL wanted the Saints to win that one too. The Lions got jipped on maybe even more calls than we did lol

it is so improbable that the broncos would win that there had to be a conspiracy. Why would the refs have so many conferences? Someone must have been telling them what to call. Especially when they picked up that defenseless receiver flag on the broncos. How much do you think that they had to pay those guys? I expect a lot! They must have got money from conservative Christian groups and maybe the Pope.

Did anyone else notice that the last pass had a better spiral than any other pass. I don't think that was actually Tebow who threw it. He didn't throw one pass that quickly all game.

The NFL hates the Steelers, well everyone does. Also, I noticed that Giant Eagle had the bag of peanuts with the Steelers Logo on sale BEFORE the game. Explain that.

 

I don't think he means in the history of the NFL. He means in this new era of Goodell football. Football has had a stentch on it since he was hired. And it won't go away until he does.

I would be lying if I didn't think about the same thing but Tebow has been doing it all year. I was afraid this would happen. I was rooting for the Raiders to win the division because if we got Denver it would turn ugly. And it did.

Plus they were saying the same thing when we got Bettis to the Superbowl.
