THE BUS HAS ARRIVED

I am extremely happy today and will be watching,
one of my favorite all time Steeler's be inducted. Go Steelers.
Was told by someone that was in Canton 2/3 of the people they see
have Steeler colors on. We have taken over Canton, YOY and Double Yoy.

 

I will also be watching tonight, and i will be wearing my # 36 jersy proudly

 

Anyone know if he still has that bus?

 

I had to hustle home from work. Trying to meet up with some relatives and zip down there in time to see the enshrinement!

 

Looks like a huge amount of Steeler fans there

On a side note it looks like he is going in with a great class of HOF'ers

 

Great induction speech! It was like a Steeler home game with all the Terrible Towels!

 

I think my wife and I both teared up a little at that point.

The Bus is such a class act and so deserving of this honor.

 

Yeah that was really cool. It's really true about his wife too. I was on a plane with her a few years ago and my stepmom actually set beside of her and she was going to Florida for a Jerome Bettis football camp. She was wearing his jersey and my stepmom was telling her that she "bet her stepson is a bigger fan than her" and she said "well my husband played for them" and then when we got to the ground she said "I set with a Steeler player's wife and his name was Jerome Bettis. Is he pretty good?" Dude I almost came unglued and I was like "WHY DID YOU NOT TELL HER TO WAIT SO I COULD MEET HER AND ASK HER SOME QUESTIONS???!!! HE'S ONLY ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES!" LOL. But it's cool how he thanked her for all her support. I was also wondering if he'd mention Ben's tackle since that's sort of a wart on him but I was glad he did.

 

It's about time the Bus got to Canton!! I had tears in my eyes pretty much throughout his entire speech. Sometimes they were happy tears, sometimes sad. Watching him & all the terrible towels in the crowd made me proud to be a Steelers fan. I haven't felt that in a while & that made me cry a little too. it was nice seeing Ben, Hines, & Max Starks there.

 

His speech and all the Towels got me even MORE pumped up for the Hall of Fame game. DANG I can't believe it's football time again already!

I am so jealous of you guys that can just hop in your car and take the short drive over to Canton. Congrats Mr. Bettis #36, all the way from Texas.

 

we didnt jump in a car... we rode a bus!!!

 

My wife is in Columbus. Should have bought the tickets when I had them on hold back in April.....

Who knew she had to go to see her mother after surgery......

 

What charisma, WOW. and you wonder why he is one of my
all time favorite Steelers.And I have had the pleasure to watch a lot of them WOW. The wheels on the Bus go round and round.

my earliest football memory was of him in his last year when he just made the Bears defense look silly

 

TTF, I just saw the video too. Damn dust kept getting in my eyes. Once again, Steeler Nation was well represented.
