    As a Hawkeye fan I thought Hamilton was way under used. He definitely has more skill than his stats show at Iowa. I don't think he will be a world beater by any means but he could potentially make the team as the last TE. He has good athleticism and very good hands. Part of Iowa's problem is the QB during Hamilton's years was not very good at seeing the entire field and reading the defense, especially over the middle where a lot of Iowa's TE's run routes.

    Early days it looked like Clear might put up a fight for a roster spot... I wonder if a few good plays in preseason games might settle this one.
