Bettis took pay cut back in the day. ward will do the same plus i still think we need him on this team. At least he doesnt DROP many catches.

 

Looks like Hines is gonna remain a Steeler and this also backs up my theory of never buying a Players Jersey until they retire as a "Steeler" because you never know.

 

Let's hope they restructure and keep him. If not, he says he will go elsewhere and he hopes the fans will understand. I sure will. I'd buy a Steelers' Hines Ward jersey even if he did go elsewhere.

 

Could be my favorite player on the team. Love his style of play, the smile, the attitude he brings. I wouldn't be made at Hines, I'd probably be made at the front office if they didn't bring him back and he played somewhere else. The leadership and experience he brings for the other receivers is worth resigning him.

Someone would - but I don't know if that "someone" would be a playoff/Super Bowl contender. He specifically said that he wants to win another Super Bowl. Well, he ain't gonna get that by signing with the Clowns!

 

he dropped a pass that would have set up the gamewinner. He had a bunch of drops this year didnt he have a huge 3rd drop in rhe texans game as well.

 

Hines didn't drop a pass Champ Bailey knocked it away before he the ball even got to Ward's hands. Good play by Bailey.

 

I didnt watch the replay i thought the ball had gotten to him. Still if he comes back for the league minimum bring it other then that let him go out like franco. Im not mad at him gor saying he would play for another team but i think its dumb. If the team you have played for and is loyal to you thinks you're done chances are you're done. I just wish he would have taken a page out of smiths book and said yes i want to play but only for the steelers. Other then knowledge what else does he bring to the table. Him taking up a roster spot to ride the bench is ridiculous. Hes not going to play special teams or see the field as a wide out so whats the point of him being on the team.
