Just witnessing the end of the Seahawks. He benefited from having scouted those guys in college and picked up some great picks in later rounds and had them cheap on rookie contracts. Let's see how long they can plug holes when these big contracts start strangling them.

 

When the dominated Denver a couple of years ago I said the cap would be the thing that winds up beating that team. I still stand by it but I do think Wilson is a pretty good qb and does a lot for that team. He makes a lot of plays and he's a pretty smart player. If he hadn't thrown that pick in the SB this year I bet this deal would've gotten done quicker. What do you think?

 

Most definitely he'd have had this deal by draft at least and he'd have had a case.

 

It's hard for me to say anyone is worth that kind of money. That being said, IMHO that's just too much for Wilson. I don't think he's all the great, to be completely honest. Take away his running game and that Defense that is pretty much lights out, and he's not that good. I think he's a product of the system more than anything. You could put quite a few QBs on that team and I think they would be equally as successful. The front office just killed that team.
