Getting To Know The New Forum Software

I thought it'd be a good idea to post some how to's so everyone can familiarize themselves with the new forum platform. I'll start with the basics, just to be safe. The core functionality isn't very different. Create a new thread, post a reply, etc...

To start a new thread, simply click the "Post New Thread" button found at the top of every forum.



After you've typed your message, hit Create Thread to submit it.



To reply to a thread, just enter your message in the reply box at the bottom of the thread and hit the "Post Reply" button.

 

Logging in.

To log in, click on the log in button on the right of any page, or the log in link in the top right corner.



After that, type your username and password and click log in.

 

Just like with the old platform, I'm sure you'll find your own preferred way of getting around, but here is a run down of some of the navigation and related features, starting with the basics.

 

When looking at a list of threads, clicking the time stamp of the last message will take you to the last post in that thread.



As you move down each page, you'll notice the floating navigation helper. Clicking it will auto scroll to the top or bottom of the page.

 

I edited the accounts, so you should now see an email to reset the password for biggbunch68. If not, let me know.
