Steelers Waive Shawn Lemon

    The Steelers placed LB Shawn Lemon on waivers today with a failed physical designation. Bummer.

    While we hold out hope for these diamond in the rough guys it's things like this that make fans feel negative about signing guys from the CFL.

    I don't know if his CFL background had anything to do with it...
    Isn't the 'failed physical designation' tag used for something quite specific? Seem to remember they used it with another guy before, and he wound up back on the team. Embernate, maybe?

    I don't think his CFL background had anything to do with it either but it was more to say that fans will focus on that instead of real reasons such as an injury.

    I think with what Chickillo is showing they are content. He looks really explosive since losing 35 pounds. Some have him out performing Dupree so far.
