Thank all the well wishers; and also a Happy Memorial day to allof you too and Those who served, are serving. Especially to the families of those who gave all! It is folks like your lost love one who make days like this possible. More and more people are knowing this day is more than opening our pools and cooking out. You see many cook outs starting with a prayer of thanks to all Veterans.

Happy Memorial Day!

Thanks to all of the service men and women out there. You make this day possible.

Went camping this weekend and was disappointed to see someone hanging the flag upside down. Was a bit vocal about it but not certain if they heard me or not. Didn't pass their site the rest of the weekend.

 

They were walking around outside drinking with music playing. I should have just gone down and flip the flag the right way myself.

I didn't sign in yesterday, but I want to add my late thanks as well.

 

I didn't sign here either yesterday, but spent a blessedly reflective day. I was a child during WWII, and have known many others then and over the years -- extended family, friends and students -- who've made this extraordinary contribution to our freedom. It is wonderful to see our country so soberly celebrate this year's Memorial Day. Thanks to all of you who did so and thank you to those who served and have your own losses to count. It's been an honor to meet you here.
