Coates Signs Rookie Deal

    3rd round pick WR Sammie Coates has signed his contract. The 4 year deal should be just over $2.9 Mil in total value, with a signing bonus of just over $639K. His 2015 cap hit will be just under $595K.

    Only one rookie remains unsigned.

    Coates got a sweet deal, 750K a year for 4 years, plus a signing bonus to cover his agents costs and get a place to live in Pittsburgh.

    Interestingly, Brown, Bryant, Wheaton, and Coates are deep threats, and we have a QB with a sad deep ball. those guys would be crazy good with a Brady, Stafford, Rodgers, or Brees throwing to them.

    But then, that only means that it is Tajh Boyd's chance to shine.
