The seahawks first phone call for an UDFA was to Nate Boyer, the former Green Beret, long snapper maybe a safety, a good publicity move on their part to get an inspirational player on their team, he probably wont be there for more than 1 year but they fulfilled his dream to play in the NFL even if it doesnt last long....

Hopefully we can sign him if all goes well with him and the law. Push Beachem to the guard spot and have Foster as a solid backup. That would be a great offensive line.

 

Yep! I can't believe this guy was available as a UFA. Some scouts had him as a 3rd-5th rounder. And seeing his emotion telling his friends and family makes me want him to stand out at camp even more!

 

You know one writer tweeted that no one that Pittsburgh signed as a Undrafted player was exciting. Said basically these guy were just Camp bodies.

Camp bodies ?.......Yeah, I remember that same thing being said when James Harrison was signed by us.

 

Yeah me too, and the thing is we are pretty short at oline as far as depth goes I can see him making this team. What a great story it will be and this video will be all over the place.

 

i found interesting we didn't sign any ss (udfa) there vere drummond previtt ..., who we have mitchell tha has to change position and shamarko that has show nothing ex s teams .. do we paly allen and mithcell again ?

as they said near the end of the draft, on average one third of NFL teams are made up of udfa's.
