Last time the Steelers had the #1 pick

    So, Ive been at war on FB and other sites after the loss defending this team, but when was the last time the Steelers had the #1 pick in the draft?

    I hope we never get a number 1 pick again. I hope we never get a top 10 pick again unless we trade up or we get picks from some kind of deal with another team.

    It may happen some day (top 10). Those kinds of years tend to jump in every once in awhile even to strong teams/organizations like the Steelers. When it does - we'll be talking about the draft LONG before January 9!!

    I agree, but for different reasons. Top 10 picks command too high of a price tag and if you get them wrong can wreck your team for years.
