Last off season one of the worse ever?

Would anyone else consider the last off season one of the worse ever. Our big free agent signings for lance moore, blount, and mike mitchell. Could that be any worse??
Moore - just was a total disappointment. No other words to describe
Blount- do not ever get me started on him
Mitchell - IMHO most over paid fast athlete. Ya he can run to wear the ball is heading but miss every single tackle in that area

Our draft sucked to except for one pick
Shazier - injured all year. Missed opportunity to pickup the ravens new lb and haha clinton-dix
Tuitt- Average player, can not say anything bad
Archer - Ya that sure did not work out
Bryant - AMAZING

 

Not even close..
The years when Ben got in a motorcycle accident, and got falsley accused of rape, spring to mind, immediateley, as worse...

I`m sure there are more, if I was willing to think more about this, like Tank, running from/over cops...

But, I`m not thinking about all that...

I will chalk this one up as "uneventful"... Which is far from "bad"...

Ok, damnit, I didn`t expect Worillds to retire, but that is far from a "catastrophy"!!

I will say, you seem to be digging in the past similar to a queen who occasionally got over paid at a penny for his thoughts.

To actually answer your question, there have been many worse off seasons if you dig back a bit. Plus, I believe Shazier and Tuitt will do well. Just out of curiosity, how long have you been following the Steelers? Youngster or old fart?

I personally dont think cam was a great pick up. Sure he filled a needed position but he is not bad but a little below average in my opinion. If it was not for Timmons our run defense would be a heck of a lot worse.

and yes I think shazier and tuitt will pan out eventually

 

He was saying Thomas was a bad signing as well. Shazier will come around much like Timmons did. You almost have to look at Shazier like a skill player because that is his game. Mitchell will be alright Clark took a year to adjust as well and Mitchell was covering for a shell of Troy. Tuitt is going to be a beast he had one of the better rookie seasons I can remember for a Steelers DL. Looking at everything here you also have to look at Spence coming back and showing that he is going to be a good back up. How about getting Pouncey locked up long term. I can absolutely think of worse off seasons then last year.

 

You say sucked except for one pick? But note a couple decent picks? Shazier will find his stride if he stays healthy, Tuitt was a great pick! Bryant was great as well supposing he grows upon last years demo...Archer has the upside if he's utilized right. So I'll see your 1 and raise it to 3. Last year was a good draft and could explode into a great one... Lots of upside fella. Welcome to the board!
