His point is that people keep saying he is playing underpaid, well he played when he was overpaid. Par for the course.

One can make an argument that all NFL players are overpaid for playing a game many of us would do just for fun.

Oh without a doubt but within is profession, he's under paid. He's arguably a #1 being paid around a #10

Not 100% true. He's the #1 on the Steelers, being paid #1 money on the Steelers. Which, when he took the contract, was more than many other receivers around the league. Now, he's out played the contract and other receivers salaries have gone up, he wants more money. Wanting more is fine. This isn't really a holdout as much as a "I don't have to be there and I'm unhappy, so I won't".

Thats not how the market is set, though. League wide, he is underpaid at his position.

No way do we get two 1st rounds and a 3rd. I doubt we get more than 1 first round pick. And it's nice to think it's as easy as picking up Kevin White and move on, but the changes of KW being any where close to what AB is unlikely. AB is very, very special. There are tons of high draft pick WRs who never do much of anything.

After that debacle of a prediction he made about Redman I'm not too worried. LOL

No one will ever know how he may have done with a real Team . The Raiders have crushed more players than I care to even count . One could argue that DHB has more Team value at this point than AB . At least he is with the Team and trying to get better . I am excited about his 2nd. career.

As far as Redman goes he did come from camp fodder to starter. As a starter he had a couple of huge games . Did he fit the zone blocking scheme ? No . Would he have been better behind a power scheme ? Without a doubt!

He was a different runner after the injury , he had a career ending injury and it appears to me he tried to play through it . If I could Pimp him all over again ,I sure would . He had a it factor , but things never broke his way as is Life ,it takes not 1 thing from Redzone or what his potential could have been .

I tell you what I hope is that AB gets traded to the Raiders this will be a nice experiment and I bet he puts up similar numbers to what DHB did there .

I think you are the only one who would try to argue that point :lolol:

I don't agree with AB's decision but DHB will never be of more value to the team, thats pretty far fetched.

OK I will bite . Value as far as showing Team Spirit . Value as far as respecting the Team you work for . Value as far as respecting all your Team mates. Value as far as I have signed this Team can count on me .

If I have learned 1 thing from Football it's that when guys say this Team is special it is usually because of the bond . So simple and sweet DHB is forming bonds this week and AB is tearing them apart.thus DHB=Value there the argument can be made. lol.

Yup. The team agreed with you about Redman, so that says plenty. No one could predict his bizarre neck injury. Don't really get your love for DHB though. :smiley1:

i know but if he hold outs what you do ? pay him ? it will start a precedent and the steelers are well known for not doing it .. so if the thing is broken and i say again big IF , we should try to open other options
