I thought it would be cool to start a thread where we could all post our favorite moment or moments of Troy's career. There were tons and he's probably the biggest playmaker that we've maybe ever had. I would say mine was in a game against the Rats when Troy's shoulder must have popped out or something and it showed the defense on the sidelines and I believe it was Ryan Clark trying to pop it back in. Does anyone else remember that? My other favorite play from him would be a tie between the Flacco pick 6 in the AFC Championship game or the pick he had of Rivers where he literally scooped it from the frozen turf with his fingertips while stretching to the max. Man that was awesome.

His First Pick 6 vs Carson Palmer, that's a classic.

I love the strip-sack of Flacco that Woodley picked up. That's the one that I remember the most. May not necessarily be my favorite moment, but it's the first one that comes to mind.

That's the very one that I think of as his best single moment. It helps that I had seats right on the 20 yard line for that game and the play happened right in front of me LIVE!:yahoo:

BTW - Great Thread! Maybe we could compile a top 5 or 10 list.

Same here. There are so many it's too hard to choose, but that one is just classic Troy.

Tie....tomahawk strip of flacco in playoffs securing AFC Championship and superbowl run and the time he literally shot across the filed 30 yards to drag down what was then the fastest man in the league in Chris Johnson for a loss behind the LOS. That was a moment when you just went, "WOW, he is special"!!

So many to choose from but anytime he jumped the line I'd cheer like there was no tomorrow. Just last year I remember an early game where he hit someone so hard you could HEAR it. They played it over and over, it was awesome. Thinking more about it I would probably say his one handed interception against Tennessee or when he force fumbled Flacco. And he was robbed during the Colts-Steelers playoff game when he made that interception that was ruled incomplete and the NFL said the next day it was an interception. Thankfully we won the game, but that call was absolutely horrible.

One of my favorites didn't happen on the field and would have been great if it had happened was when he lobbied Cowher to let him go over the top on the goal line. I'll go over the top coach, put me in. Classic Troy willing to do what ever it takes.

I agree that there are simply too many to list, but the one that shocked me the most was the leap over the line against the Titans...wow!!

That's the one I was going to go with. As incredible as the INTs are, the LOS stunts are the things that stand out as unique to me. Here's another:

    - Goal line sack on Kerry Collins vs. Titans (leap over line on QB sneak)

    - Pick 6 against Carson Palmer (the first one that ends with him barreling over Carson). The second time he did that was nice too, except he hurt his achilles on the play and kept him from being himself in the Super Bowl, possibly costing us the game.

    - Amazing grass-grazing INT and runback against Chargers in the snow (would have been a TD if Larry Foote, Pittsburgh's answer to Jerry Gergich, hadn't cut him off)

    - Pick 6 to seal game against Ravens in AFCCG (how is this the fourth thing I thought of?)

    - Every time he ever got a sack on a called hand-off running play. (These were not officially considered sacks, but in my opinion they are ever better than sacks. He should get credit for like 5 sacks every time he did this.)

    - Leap over the Ravens' FG unit to block the game-tying extra point that he miss-timed by a quarter of a second (would have been the greatest thing ever had he pulled that off - and I'm convinced that's what got Kam Chancellor thinking and practicing).

    - Game-winning INT against Peyton Manning and the Colts in 2005 - erroneously erased by the referee on replay.

    - Season-opener in 2009 against Titans - one-handed INT over Kenny Britt, and laser-like TFL against Chris Johnson, who we'd been forced to hear about all offseason as the second coming of Walter Payton.

    - Judo takedown of a stiff-arming Demaryius Thomas (did we ever see a receiver stiff-arm Troy after that?).

    - Flying sack/fumble against Ravens in 2010 to win the game.

    - Sideline INT at end of regulation vs. Falcons in 2010 opener (Dennis Dixon game) to prematurely end Matty Ice's sure-thing comeback. (We won in overtime.)

    - The Ass-tackle. I forget who it was against, but he beat two OL on a screen, got turned around in the process, but still tackled the ball carrier with his back and ass.

That's what comes to mind, before looking at any highlights. I don't think I could possibly rank them.

NO hesitation. Towards the end of his career he mistimed a couple and was penalized a couple times, but the number of times he just ran full-force, and was 1 inch from the LOS at the snap, and in the backfield while the OL was still in a 3 point stance outnumbers the offsides penalties. To do it once is worthy of an all-time highlight reel, and this guy made it a habit.

This is probably my favorite, too. But, I'll go a different direction with great Troy moments. I loved watching this when it was first released:

AFC championship pick 6, hands down...he pointed right up toward our section as he ran into the endzone. Still gives me chills thinking of the roar as he caught the ball

That one is great also, but I was thinking of the one at the goal line against the Titans (Collins was QB I think).

The pick in the AFCC game vs. Ravens to seal the win. The play wasn't the most spectacular of his career, but the significance of the play and the game makes it #1 on my list. Wasn't that the game that started off so terribly for us, with the Ben fumble that no one knew was a fumble? Was that the same game? Troy's pick sealed the win and took us to win #6.
