Some of the sideline shots today of all our wounded players were truly depressing. Seems most of our team was standing there hurt and frustrated. I think the "too old" comments after the first Ravens game were overblown and not accurate as far as losing a step and being too slow, but after this season of injuries, maybe the team is too old to stay healthy. Either that or the athletic training staff needs to be fired. Way too many groin, hamstring, and other injuries that would seem to be somewhat conditioning related. Either that, or it was just one of those unlucky years. I think a healthy team wins lots of game big this past season.

Age is part of it. I don't know if it's the whole story. Maurkice isn't old. A lot of it is also due to no OTAs. And on top of this the new collective bargaining agreement forces coaches to pamper these guys during the week. As a result, you get what you get. Players walking through practices during the week and then teaking hammies at full speed on Sunday.
