Was it an OT? You love value, and there are some good OTs on the board, and I'm not sure you're that sold on Beachum/Gilbert.

Almost our pick...I have absolutely no idea who we should take...my last CB suggestion just went to Cincy. We're in deep $hit if this is how the draft turns out!

Yeah we got a couple of OLB's sitting here (Hunter & Mauldin) that could be just as good as our first pick (Dupree) and the remaining CB's all have legitimate concerns (injury, size, ability). To make matters worse, I don't see a real clear-cut BPA. This will take some researching, but I do have an idea of my choice (a CB).

When voting opens I will probably cast mine for Eric Rowe, unless I see another name/position that I agree with more when voting begins.

I checked the list, I don't think anyone has chosen him yet. I'd be pretty happy to get him in the real draft.

I still have him available. The list I'm using has him rated at #118

Unless I've overlooked someone(ie max williams) there really isn't a cb left that I like at 2.22. I wouldn't complain about double dipping at OLB or maybe looking at an OL. SOmeone like Hroniss Grasu (C). He's solid in a zone blocking scheme. Maybe move Pouncey to left guard. IF that worked we could actually pull guards left and right.

    Some possibilities.

CB: Steven Nelson Ore St, D'joun Smith FL Atl
CB/S: Eric Rowe Utah, Damarious Randall ASU, Shaq Thompson Wash., Anthony Harris UVA
    TE: Clive Walford
    OLB: Kikaha Wash., Hunter LSU
    WR: Nelson Agholor USC

    Any discussion on lineman available??

The two corners listed may be reaches at this point, does need trump that?

    DT : Carl Davis
    RB: T.J. Yeldon
    My only two choices.
Davis will come in and replace baby zilla, push McClendon and upgrade our Giant NT and come playoff time will be an added run stuffing asset. Yeldon will instantly help our offense and solidify our backfield.

Jeremiah Poutasi: OG/OT and Ty Sambrailo OT are two BPA along the OL We could add, not as impactful this year but could be solid foundational guys for years to come.

I pretty much hate all of these suggestions. Not necessarily the player, but I think a fair number of them are reaches or just a poor fit for the Steelers. Reaching for a player does nothing, but create problems.

Rowe might be the BPA considering value/need. I'd have absolutely no problem with Kikaha in round 2, but we took Dupree in round one. I'm kind of high on Agholor. For anyone who doesn't like seeing Antonio Brown returning...there's a good answer, but picking a receiver in round 2 this year would be extremely hard for me to swallow.

I don't like how our needs and BPA are lining up. I don't think there's a DB in the BPA discussion right now. I think Davis and Agholor are in the BPA discussion, but for me Stephone Anthony is probably at the top of the BPA list right now. Sambralio is a guy that I haven't watched, but I'm reading a lot about him being an ideal candidate to make the switch for LT to LG. I hate going with need over BPA at a position that we can use, but I just don't see where taking either Davis (not a true zero tech IMO) or Agholor (we know how to find later round WRs) is good value for us here.

I'm going to go against my natural instincts and take Rowe. I'm swayed by the fact that he can conceivably be a legit coverage free safety if he doesn't quite cut it at corner. He's played safety, and played it well. I don't see him in the BPA discussion here, but we need to take shots at DBs.

Shaq Thompson. 6'2". 2 and a quarter. Safety. Or coverage lb. but more safety in my book.

    TJ Yeldon, RB....

Last yr showed WE need more than one.... to win you must out score and the addition of Yeldon would make our offense virtually unstoppable.....
