makes me happy i am a steelers fan

I have a buddy who is an eagles fan and he just called me about to blow a gasket. he told me to be happy that the steelers don't make deals like this. lol apparently the traded foles for Bradford and swapped some picks that the rams got the better of. I told him that it cant be true but espn is reporting it

I am so glad that the front office and ownership here have better since. am I wrong or is this a dumb trade?

I have a buddy that's a die hard eagles fan too and he has been venting a lot to me. Trading McCoy to me is just absolutely dumb. Chip Kelly better know what he's doing because if he has done nothing more than bought his own hype he will need to join the witness protection program by the time those fans are done with him. I don't think the McCoy trade is as bad as the Reggie White thing but it's pretty dang risky. I always considered Foles a product of the system and I'm not surprised he's gone.

 

I think Chip Kelly has been hired by Goodell as part of his campaign to keep up interest in the game. Either that or Kelly thinks he's playing Madden all this time.

 

Not surprised Foles is gone but giving up a 2nd and a 4th seems excessive.

I think this is the perfect example of why it's usually a bad idea to give a HC the dual role of GM. I'd be livid if I were an Eagle's fan. Chip Kelly is a college coach totally dismantling a good football team and nobody can figure out what he's doing! He's a QUACK!

 

Either he will come out as a genius or a fool. Let's put it in perspective. Can you imagine if we had a head coach who traded away Bell for a 2nd year LB (who did show promise, but more valuable than a top shelf RB - which both Bell and Shady certainly are), trade or cut A. Brown and trade Ben straight up for Sam Bradford (I know Foles is no where as accomplished as Ben, but he still traded a known, winning QB for a guy who is hurt for the whole season most of his career). Imagine how bad we would be freaking out? And Eagle fans are more extreme than we are. Is Chip insane? Is he a meglomaniac? I have to say one thing, it sure is interesting, but I would find it less so if I were an Eagles fan. I'd be livid.
