I dont understand the Foles for Bradford trade.

Bradford has health issues and Foles is not consistent.

 

Schefter reporting that the Steelers had interist in Revis today.. but the deal was just to unrealistic for them.... personaly im glad we didnt get him.. he is all abt $ and he nvr really impressed me for the $ he commands..... But at least we do have interist in fixing the sec...

 

Reading the fans reaction on ESPN, they (Eagles fans) think (hope is more like it) that this is a move to get Mariota. They say that the trade also included swapping picks to move to #10 even though I havent seen that reported yet. Even so #10 may be too low to get him.

Personally I think that Chip Kelly is playing Madden on Franchise Mode.

 

I agree, being a Ducks fan I believe Chip is all in on Mariotta. He may not pull the crazy Ditka moves for Ricky Williams... But he's risking a year or two for their future. Might've worked a few years ago, but if the Eagles bite it this year, Chip may be out. Sports are more unforgiving than in the past. Who knows though? Chip may be the next LOmbardi hahahaha. We shall see. Reports are that players are having an issue with his demands for practice, commitment, etc... I hate these soft players and their union nowadays.

Rams came up in this deal. And an unhealthy Bradford is still a big upgrade over Sanchez... Supposing Bradford stays healthy. Chips shooting for Marcus, he ain't worried about the rest. folks is a damn good QB and would've loved him as an understudy to Ben.

 

A simple case of wanting another team's set of problems over your own. Philly is sick of Foles being inaccurate and St. L is sick of Bradford being hurt all the time. They are both hoping a change of scenery will fix their new player's problems.

 

Winning Super Bowls is no fun? We may all be collectively yawning as free agency once again begins with the status quo, hum drum showing by the Steelers, but we've got to remember that we still have more Lombardis than any team in NFL history. In fact, check the teams that seem to be the most active in free agency year after year. How many Super Bowls have they won???

I prefer it that way. The alternative is an early overpay for a 3rd tier free agent. I'd rather check out the bargain bin after the first couple of weeks.
