As I said, take Tomlin away from the press confrences and microphone and he becomes an average coach at best.

You couldn't be further from the truth. Coaching at it's very best couldn't help this piss poor execution performance by the men on the field.

Aren't the coaches responsible for the execution? The offense hasn't executed squat in over a month. And the defense looks lost. Denver made some adjustments and LeBeau didn't.

Players play and that's why they are responsible for execution. The offense executed at times the last month.

Tebow made the adjustment. He's playing much better then anyone expected.

The Broncos couldn't do squat offensively for the past 3 or 4 games. Kansas City made them looked inept. THIS defense (#1 D in the NFL, so we're told) has gotten trampled. I'll have to look at the numbers, but Tebow has his best game as a pro ever. Indeed, the Steelers miss Casey and Beard, but still...the secondary has been picked apart by a QB that every scout and analyst has said can't throw the ball.

What happened in previous games doesn't matter. Fans like yourself need to stop getting so caught up in rankings. Rankings mean absolutely nothing once the game starts. All players in the NFL are professional players. Those players can play at a high level for a series, a game, a couple of weeks, ect. Pay attention to the game long enough (really pay attention) and you will reach that conclusion.

I am going to stop replying to the same nonsense but here goes again.

Football IS a game of ADJUSTMENTS!

Adjustments have NOT been made time and time again. We get torched in the SB and everyone wants to sit on their hands and blame the tooth fairy.

We draft no DB's and get very little offensive line help, but maybe a punter will be available in round 3 again?

Preseason rolls around and the defense is getting plundered left and right and all everyone wants to talk about is that it is preseason. Just wait till the regular season.

Regular season starts and we get killed at Baltimore but no one is concerned because it is only one game and no way Baltimore beats us at home. We go to Texas and get clocked again when our defense gives a poor effort. Stop me when you get the idea here.

Pattern behavior? Week in week out all we here is the standard is the standard blah blah blah...Week in week out we have the same problems only they are not a obvious when playing the girl scouts. We shut out a midget team and everyone thinks the Steel Curtain has risen from the grave.

And now for the final act....Denver. A team that could not score for 3 weeks somehow manages to have it's best offensive output all season while playing a fullback at QB, who by the way according to the pundits, did not deserve to be in the NFL. These are the same pundits that were telling Steeler Nation that their defense was number ONE. That they were great. They belonged. Afterall they were 12-4 and Denver literally backed into the playoffs.

Adjustments? None. Now go home. Or should I say, have a wonderful time at the Pro Bowl. I'm sure by that time the injuries will all have healed, at least those involving the hand so that one is able to resign a contract in the spring.

The Rooney's have everyone duped into believing Tomilin is a coach. He walked into a prime situation and basically just had to let the players play and he would be .500. Now, though, the glitter is wearing off and we can truely see that he had no clue, nor does he know anything about making adjustments even given 20 some odd weeks to prepare.

This staff could not and did not make game adjustments all season long. How long does it take to see that Redmen was better then Mendy in short yardage.

Football is a game of EXECUTION. This team's coaches made adjustments. If you don't those adjustments then that's on you.

Since the 2008 draft, they drafted 6 DB's.

There's no shame losing to quality teams in the NFL. The Steelers beat a few quality teams this season. Can't win every game.

I guess you got too caught up into what the pundits stated? Pay attention to the NFL long enough. You will come to the realization that past actions don't matter when one game is on the line.

Yeah, Tomlin hasn't contributed one iota to this team, common man. This team's done much better then .500 with Tomlin as HC. I understand that people are disappointed after this loss but sometimes it goes to far. Disappointment clearly clouds people's judgement.
