Is this outcome asking too much? Probably right..... I have to go with the Seahawks I despise the Cheatriots.

If all things were equal, I'd pick Seattle in this game.

    But I fear the following...

    1. The Pats are a ticked off team right now and likely more focused than ever before, and meanwhile...
    2. I sense the Seahawks are not as prepared and focused for this game as they were last season. It seems they have a "Business as usual" / "We got this" mindset. That's not good.
    3. The Seahawks secondary is beat up, and this will be an issue.

Like I said in the other thread, I fear a Pats win, and the whole deflation debacle being presented as unimportant because 'they would have won anyway'.

I want the Seahawks to win. They play the kind of defense we should, and I like a scrambling QB (though more if I'm not invested in the outcome of the game). I have far more respect for the Seattle organisation than the Pats. But then, that's not too hard.

I think the Pats will win. They are out to send a message to the world right now. They're a pissed off football team right now. In the past, when the Pats have wanted to send a message, it's always been loud and clear (such as the season after Spygate).

I wish both teams could lose... However, I am afraid that I hope The Pats win. I live in the Seattle area and their fans kill me... Every game they win, I receive text from them bragging and bringing up Super Bowl XL. Its really dumb and most of their fans are really football stupid. I could go on with stories of my horrid run ins with Hawk Fans... For example: We have a Steelers fan club here and we met at the local Hooters. The year we played Green Bay in the Bowl, Seattle fans busted all the windows out of the restaurant before they opened to try and stop us from watching the game. Go Pats!

They lost, but I don't judge success solely on SB wins. That's an impossible standard to uphold. They went 18-0 the year after spygate, I think they sent a message loud and clear.
