A true conflict of interest wouldn't you say? Now is there any question which franchise yields the most power in PGH? LOL the Steelers are KING. Sorry all you Penguin fans.

Hockey teams don't need that kind of power, hockey players tend to get in trouble with the law far less than NFL players

Yeah because instead of assaulting a guy publicly they just do it on the ice. LOL.

I hope this story doesn't blow up and seem like more then it is. I am sure every major pro team in every city has a "cleaner", along with movie stars, politicians, etc. This is really more of a conflict of interest story, and really more about how the police department needs to handle it.

Not so much anymore, I was at a game last week for the first time in years, (funny enough, the opponent was the Penguins) but there were no fights, it used to be good for 3 or 4 fights a game.

This isn't nearly the scandalous big deal that these two investigative journalists are trying to make it out to be, nor is it new news. It will get lots of play, though. Bad timing on their part for running it under the shadow of DeflateGate.

The conflict of interest aspect of it is huge, but nothing specific to the Steelers. Every team does this, or at least would like to if given the opportunity.

I think this is right. Basically this an Alleghany County Sheriif Dept issue. They need to tell Mr Kearney that he can either be a County Sherriff or Head of Security for the Steelers, but he can't be both.

So the fine people of Allegheny County must pay
his salary, I believe in the 6 figure range, does this seem fair to them? Its a great gig if he can pull it off.
