The list of unrestricted free agents came out today and I noticed something. Many of the guys many of you wanted in the last four years will be available. Guys like Hynoski, Housler, Bulaga and so on. Now we know the Steelers don't make a splash in FA but who would you pick to right a past draft wrong.

I'd take bulaga.... We just ain't a big purse team hence, we don't play in the offseason.

Waiting for someone to say Colt McCoy to right Landry Jones.

Ta'amu is a free agent, too...

To be honest looking at the list I was blown away by the talent available. Question is will such a loaded market drive prices higher or will the available talent level drive prices down.

I'd love to see them steal Jordan Cameron from the Browns. Pair him with Heath and add another threat to an already potent offense.

I like Cameron when he's on the field. I don't think he'd really have to be stolen due to his injury concerns, though.

Not being a big purse team is a product of a good fan base. Even when the chips are down and they have been really down the last few years they sell out the stadium week after week.

Its still a business and the owners are putting alot of the money in their pockets and will continue to do so .

What happened to Kyle Wilson? He was a highly touted first-round cb when he came out.

Except that the crowded secondary was a crowd of scrubs after Revis and Cromartie left. I admit, I was fooled by him as well. I saw a player similar to Asante Samuel, but reality was more like Curtis Brown.

I have seen quite a bit of love for Pernell McPhee lately, and while it's certainly justified keep in mind that he did a lot of damage rushing from the inside while both Suggs and Dumerville were on the field. It will be interesting to see what the Ravens do. If they pay McPhee, it seems like someone else will need to be a cap casualty. How about Suggs for a 1-2 year rental? (I'm ducking for cover after writing that).

More likely for me is Jabaal Sheard. I like him a lot, and he seemed like the odd man out in the Browns' new scheme this season. I think he can be a legit edge rusher off the right side working with our coaches, and can free us up to focus on other positions early in the draft. If we pick him up and plug him in on the right, it would allow us to move JJ to the left where I think he will shine against slower right tackles. I could see a healthy Sheard/JJ combo hitting the combined 20 sack threshold, with Cam and Tuitt combining for 10+ inside. Add in some blitzers and contributions from bench guys like Moats (who I think we should absolutely resign), and we're back in 40+ sack territory.

If we don't find a Sheard (or McPhee), then I really think OLB moves to priority #1 in the draft. We need to generate pressure, or all of the corners in the world won't save our pass defense. Even if we get Sheard, I would still have OLB on the radar in rounds 2-4 (maybe Orchard?).

I might add Brandon Graham to my list if the Eagles don't move on from Trent Cole to resign him (which I would probably do if I were in their shoes). He has really come on strong. I liked him coming out of Michigan, and he was as productive as Cole last season with fewer sacks.

I have always wondered in this case if the injuries are because he is injury prone or because he is one of the bright spots on an average team and trying to do too much leading to risk taking and injuries.

Devin McCourty is who I'd like to see in the defensive backfield. He's better than Mitchell by a long shot. Also he can play safety and corner. Also he has ball skills.

Hmm, perhaps. I think many teams will be worried about whether or not he's concussion prone.

    I like Skrine as well.

Really liked Iupati in the draft, but I bet the 49ers try to re-sign. Plus he'd be expensive.

I think the Steelers might bring Jabaal Sheard
in. He played at Pitt so they should be familiar with him.
Brandon Graham would be another I may look at.

Elvis, I liked him coming out too. Never understood why the Eagles drafted him to play that wide-9 technique. I thought he was a 3-4 OLB all the way. I'd like to see him here also.
