I hate watching other teams play so I went back and looked at some little notes I took thru season. If I watch a game and a guy looks good I write it down so I can look at him later. weird I know.

I have seen these guys play a lot this year and I think they all fit a need

1 Alvin Dupree olb Kentucky kid is a beast but a bit of a luxury pick. he can rush passer as good as anyone

2 quinten rollins cb Miami oh I think he is rough but kid looks like an athlete and the game I saw they wouldn't even test him

3 cody prewitt s ole miss great ball skills and seems to be in position all the time

4 todd gurley rb Georgia I know he wont be here but I can hope injury drops him. anyone who has seen him knows he is a stud

5 Julian Wilson cb okla I love how physical he is

6 cj uzomath te auburn catches everything and can block

7 desmond hollin de fsu I seen him run down a running back from behind. don't know how big he is but that impressed me

I'm not sure how you could consider OLB as a luxury pick. I think it's neck and neck with CB and S as our primary need. What do we actually have at that position for 2015? An unproven JJ, and that's it at the moment. I have watched everything available on youtube for Dupree. Unfortunately I have no Kentucky games on my DVR. If you have some links to full games, that would be cool. I like what I've seen, but I haven't seen enough to rate him as a potential BPA at pick #22 yet.

I will say this - from what I have seen, he seemed to do much of his work from the left side of the defense, and I think that's where JJ should eventually end up. I want a guy who beats left tackles. I haven't seen much film of Dupree doing that.

well I didn't say that right. luxury is wrong. I meant I don't know if want to spend a 1st round pick three years in a row on backers. I think its a need but I think this will be a deep class

The question I have for the RB position, is the Gurley kid good at catching passes out of the backfield? It's not enough to have just a good runner backing up Bell, he has to be versatile like Bell is, otherwise our game plan goes out the window and I think that was painfully obvious during the Ravens game.

Thats the type of RB I will be looking for in this draft.

I can't see it happening at all, but yeah, he's used in the passing game, too. He's ridiculously talented. Even coming off a recent ACL surgery I don't see him making it to the Steelers 2nd round pick.

he has great hands and is a great returner on kickoffs. I will say it was mostly screen passes he caught but they used him a lot. he is a pretty good blocker as well.

I'm not so sure on this. I think he could be there in the second round. Now, of course the severity of his injury was nowhere near that of Marcus Lattimore's, but even Lattimore fell to the 4th round. Gurley was going to be a high 2nd round pick anyways. Lattimore would have been a legit Top 10-15 pick had it not been f or his knee injury.

2nd round RB is very much on my mind. If for whatever reason any of Gordon, Gurley, Abdullah or Yeldon are there I take a hard look at it. Its obvious the running game is gaining more importance in our scheme, as it is around the league too. We need a capable starting RB to backup Bell.

I want Danny Shelton out of Washinton. He is a true NT with a motor. He would solidify the DL for years with Heyward and Tuit, someone who can take on multiple blockers, opening the gaps and allowing the LBS to apply the pressure we seem to be lacking.

There are reports of anger issues and selfishness from the previous coaching staff, but there were no issues with Shelton's behavior this year. Not sure what to make of it. Most scouts are saying he is lock for the first round lock. He may benefit from a strong locker room.

I thought he made some great strides as a rookie. I wouldn't give up on him yet. Lots of potential there.

I agree with you guys. I thought he was coming along nicely. just needs some more awareness, the physical is there. if they keep working on him he could become quite a force.
