Yeah, we did up big time with him. But the past 2 drafts have been pretty good otherwise. Hope Shazier doesn't fall into the same category...

I just made a comment about JJ on another thread. I'm not ready to call him a bust but he just looks so weak out there and the lineman just push him around so easily.

I'm thinking the injury made this a lost season for him. He looked good early on in the year.

I think you're right, Jimmy. But I also understand why some seem to have some legitimate concerns about the guy. He just doesn't look NFL ready. While I'm not ready to call the guy a bust like some seem to be, he certainly does remind us of the ghost of busts past and that is somewhat disconcerting.

He looked a lot better, previous to his injury. I'm not ready to give up on him yet.

I would add, he would not persuade me not to draft two OLBs in this upcoming draft.

He was hurt all year and had an injury that prevented him from even lifting weights.

This was a lost season for him the moment he was injured.

Everyone said the same about Timmons and Heyward and they have become the heart and soul of the defense. He's just coming back from missing signifigant time from an injury. Is Shazier a bust too? Since he's done didley squat so far.

Glenn you don't understand he was a first round pick, he should be the second coming of Lloyd, Gildon, Porter, and Harrison from the womb. Since he isn't he is quite obviously a bust, he should have had 15.5 sacks in the first game and be able to swat the whole opposing offensive line to the sideline with one arm. How dare you and Blast bring reason and realism to this turkey fry. How dare you sir, how dare you. asume green font for all of these. lol

He got about six snaps. He dropped into coverage on one, made an inside move on one and the tackle grabbed his face mask as he was going by him, he fell while doing a spin move on one play and the others Alex Smith got the ball out so fast even Debo would have been a non factor on those plays. Just like the Atlanta game, some folks are saying he gets manhandled every snap, I just don't see it.
