We have a snowballs chance in hell of even containing White and Jones. Our defense sucks so bad right now and we will not be able to cover those 2 guys. On top of that our run defense hasn't been good either and Steven Jackson has played very well the last 2 weeks. So if we lose to Atlanta which we probably will then were going to need to win our last 2 home games and hope SD loses 1 of their last 3 because Baltimore is going to run the table which guarantees them making the playoffs at 11-5. We can get in as the 6th seed but only if we win our last 2 and SD loses once

Even at 70% Julio will have a career day. I say 270 and 3 TD's maybe? Ike toast is gonna have a loooooong day in HOTlanta! And as unbelievable as it is to say, there is no way in hell Troy shd start this game. He is 100% a liability against the pass OR the run.

People do you realize how brutal any kind of hip injury is for a WR. I would bump and run him all game long if he is even able to go. Getting in and out of cuts, stopping and starting, getting of press coverage all involves the hips and don't forget jumping and running. Also there is no way in hell the Falcons have anything for our offense. I broke one of my fantasy rules and Have Ben, Brown, and Bryant all starting this week.

You may be right about the Flacons having nothing for our offense but that doesn't matter because we always beat ourselves when it comes to offense. We always shoot ourselves in the foot on offense when we need it most.

They showed a stat during the Bengals game of how many long TD's the Steelers have given up this year. This goes against the basis of the way that Lebeau has his defense play. I say if they're getting burned anyway, why not play press man the whole game? What can it hurt? We see the results by playing off the receivers. It no longer works to contain them to a short gain.

The keys will be pressure on Matt Ryan to take away the long ball, our special teams containing returns, win the turnovers.

Yep, that is the issue. Look what Drew Brees did to our secondary. Matt Ryan will have the same success - although McCain and Blake didn't do that bad against Cincy.

It all comes down to one variable - if Ike starts, we give up 21 by halftime and we're playing catch-up the rest of the way. Ben's going to have to be on from the start.

Atlanta's offense looked pretty good last night, guess the game Sunday will come down to whichever team can minimize the suckness of their defense.

Hahahahahaha, that's about as good of a way to put it as any!

I think our defense is better, so we get the win, but don't color me surprised if we come out of Atlanta 8-6, as I think this is our toughest matchup remaining until we face the Pats in the Divisional round! ;)

I actually think round 2 with the Bengals will be our remaining challenge. they will review their inconsistencies from the last and make necessary adjustments. It always seems to be the same song and dance with our divisional rivals.

We need to not let Jones have a big day, double him, protect him over the top, whatever. Let someone else beat us. Tired of having Ike 1 x 1 with no help and giving up 60, 80 yd TD.

That was an 11-5 team that had a great defense and a leader (The Bus) who put the team on his shoulders and took off. I think if we keep loosing to sub 500 teams we are accepting mediocrity. I think this is the time that our team needs to step up against a dangerous offense on the road and show we have that fire of the 2005 team. We need our Chicago moment and a great win followed up by a loss from a sub 500 team doesn't get it done.

Look at the bright side - we won't be facing a sub .500 team in the postseason, so maybe we'll be OK. I certainly don't compare this team to the 2005 team. The 2005 team was better overall, but this year's team has the ability to explode on offense and get on big time scoring sprees. A couple of offensive explosions in the postseason at the right time, and anything can happen.

One thing is for sure. With our pass defense our offense needs to start fast a get a lead, keep the petal to the metal and not get too conservative. Going into the 4th quarter we will need to be ahead be 2 scores. I get nervous as hell when we only have a 1 score lead because the pass defense just cannot be trusted.

We need to sit Ike and as much as I love him and know that they won't do it, I would have to spell Troy with Allen on passing plays.

fixed that for you. I'm sorry but Troy is always out of position and doesn't have the athletic ability anymore to get back.

I think we are going to have to be very physical with their WR and bump them for the whole 10 yards. Jones hip will play a factor but I still see him grabbing 2 TD's.

Jones is just as physical as he is fast. Being physical works with a guy like AJG, but it doesn't work well with guys like Julio and Dez. Those guys are so big and strong that they can easily muscle through the DB

This could be a disaster. I haven't forgotten all the flags that Ike got at the start of the season for completely ignoring the much-advertised focus on rule enforcement...
