lol, on a serious note our defense can be way better if we get Ike, Troy off the field. We will win the SB this year but we still need a CB, safety, LT, OLB. I think our young guys will improve and corners continue to get better. Shazier, Tuitt, McCullers, Moats, McCain, Blake, and hopefully we see Shark soon(doubt it).

Completely disagree. Cincy, Baltimore, KC, or the chargers aren't coming into Pittsburgh and winning in the playoffs. Can we Hang with NE probably not but I think we could hang with the Broncos and beat Indy. If our offense is rolling not many teams will be able to keep up.

 

I think the Steelers make the playoffs but no way is this secondary gonna beat enough teams to make it to the SB. I'd say second round elimination.

Hope I'm wrong......but first they have to win out. Relying on another teams help will bite them in the backside again.

 

To the OP: #1 I totally agree with #2 not as much since he played as well as he possibly could have against us (minus his ill timed fumble on the ridiculous read option play). Although he definitely is the reason why they never win big games or prime time games. I'd add the Bengals suspect run defense as to why they won't go far this year as well.

To the other posts, I think of the Steelers make the playoffs it will likely mean we win the division. I don't see anyone marching into Heinz and beating us, but I could be wrong. We've proven that we can beat some darn good football teams (and we've beaten a few of them badly) but at the same time we could totally lay an egg. That inconsistency might keep us from going all the way, but we could make some serious noise. Maybe even beat a team like NE or DEN on the road

 

I'm not a rah rah kind of guy, but, if this Offense plays like it did against the colts, crows and the bungles, the sky's the limit. The only thing stopping them would be the Defense. When the Offense is firing on all cylinders and has balance I believe they have a chance against any team.

 

If our defense can patch up before the end of this year the playoffs have all winning teams and Steelers will step up. Sky is the limit and it depends on Ben.
