It was so good to finally see a Steelers player lay a hit like that on a quarter back. One that was strong enough to take him out of the game but not injured.

Dalton would have come back in if there was any hope of winning. Personally, I don't think he hit him that hard. Just one of those things, I guess.

Tuitt needs to be seeing 40+ snaps per game. I want him ready to start next year, and he offers more rushing the passer than any other options.

He played well today, certainly giving the best glimpse of his potential so far.

He did quite well. I was partically paying attention to the run. Everyone likes to run to their right our left.

yeah me too. I think he held up ok but you can tell he has a lot of work to do in maintaining his gap

I liked it, we didn't even get flagged for it. A nice sturdy clean hit. Hopefully more to come.

I bet Goodell fines...... James Harrison this week for Tuitt's hit.

How long before Bengals fans start whining about the hit, saying he was paid to take him out like KVO to Palmer?

Tuitt is going to be a beast. They need to bring in Aaron Smith to help bring him along.

The Steelers run D was pretty stout yesterday which is a pretty good indication that the DL maintained pretty good gap discipline, isn't it? Admittedly, I haven't "studied the tape" so to speak but I'm merely making an observation as a casual fan. What did you specifically see to make you comment that Tuitt's gap discipline wasn't what it should be? Just curious and always wanting to, as another poster put it once, "learn football".

Actually, I was shocked he didn`t get penalized for "driving the quarterback into the ground, with his full weight on top of him"...

Seems to happen to our LB`s a lot...

Not that it`s right, it just seems to get called alot (on us).

Glad he got away with knocking the wind out of him, for a play...

Somethin tells me he`ll still get fined for it tho, when the league reviews tape...:godell:
