Currently at 8-5, after the W@CIN, what do you think our final record will be?
Worst scenario being 8-8, out of the playoffs, and best-case scenario 11-5 and Division Champs.

    Bi-polar Steelers:
    On meds 10-6 wildcard
    Off meds 8-8 miss playoffs

I am going with 9-7. Not sure what this team is or what to expect.

What I do know is that Haley called an excellent game today. PERFECT

Hmm, Ravens beat their toughest opponent, seems like if they are going to be 10-6, they are more likely to be a wildcard now.

I think its down to 10-6 or 11-5 for me. I think we beat Atlanta and Cincy. KC is a toss up, but I certainly am not super scared of them at Heinz field. Either way we make the playoffs tho IMO. We have a team that could go deep in the playoffs tho, I think. We're capable of taking any team in the AFC out on any given day.

if this steelers team shows up we will win out and then look out. I can see us going deep into playoffs. I hope the sense of urgency has them focused now

I stiil think the Ravens lose to the Texans- without Ngata I bet Foster runs wild on them- and then that final week Ravens/Browns will be a crapshoot. The Browns are going to play hard this year right down to the last snap.

I think ALL clowns games are a crapshoot but I think I misunderstand the actual meaning of the word. LOL. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if Johnny isn't the starter in that game. Hoyer's true colors are shining even more now.

I actually started the season predicting 10-6 and in the playoffs. With 3 games left I've come full circle. I wasn't able to watch today's game due to necessary chores, but I listened to the Sirius XM feed on my phone all day. It was dicey for a while, but that 4th quarter sounded sweet.

I still think we finish 9-7 and out of the playoffs again. The only way I see us making the playoffs is if we sweep the Bengals.

Dude the fact that their tie can be used as a tiebreaker against us REALLY ticks me off because the team they TIED we BEAT head to head. Head to head should take priority in that situation.

    Closed poll.

Just to have some analysis on the dynamics of our perception, let's see what voters thought about our chances to make the playoffs:

First of all, voting went down from 50 to 32. That's our current sample.
People thinking our season will be over without playoffs went down, from 56% last week, to 18.7% now.

People thinking the Steelers are headed to the playoffs:

    • Before the Bengals Game, 44% voters expected the Steelers to get into the Playoffs (30% as WC, 14% as a Division Champ).
    • After the Bengals Game, 81.3% expect the Steelers to make the Playoffs (34.3% as a Wild Card, 46.8% as Division Champs).

After tomorrow's game, I'll open another thread about this.
