Um, turf toe ended the career of one of the toughest guys to ever play the game, Jack Lambert.

 

It's blatantly obvious that this defense has undergone some serious "pussification" the past few years. I'm ecstatic that a guy in the trenches is spicing things up. God knows this damn team needs it!!! Come Sunday, these guys will be high-fiving each other.

you're exactly right. I thought Porter coming as a coach was going to help bring that back, unfortunately I haven't witnessed it once so far :-/

 

The players have said that Tomlin's first camp was brutal but since then he has mellowed out.

 

That's how I was suggesting you could read Foster's comments. It wasn't the best thing to say to the media, but I tend to think there's more to this story than Geathers "trying hard" and Foster getting annoyed about that.

That said... I agree with the second part as well. If it's a spark that helps fan a fire, then great.

 

I'm guessing Geathers has been sitting for most of the year, he needs to work off the rust if he'll be seeing a lot of the field. This is about him getting ready I don't think he was trying to start something, it's the candy ass OL crying

 

This is what my $ would be on. One of the veterans got knocked on their a$$ by Geathers for being "blase blah" just like they are during games, and their little feelings got hurt...
