Ravens have lost Haloti Ngata for the next 4 games due to suspension. Big blow for them. I think Miami beats them.

I think we are going to put on a good showing against Cincy and win that game.

Colts should beat Cleveland, I see them dropping out of the race, QB controversy brewing.

    After this weekend:

    Steelers 8-5
    Bengals 8-4-1
    Ravens 7-6
    Browns 7-6

Apparently their back up is pretty good, but yeah, I do hope it hurts the Ravens this week.

I hope I am wrong but I see us getting beat by Cincy and the rest of the division winning. Eventually those losses to TB, the Jets and the Saints are going to come back to bury us. We have gotten zero help outside of the conference in terms of other teams beating teams in our conference... Just think that trend continues. :(

it don't matter does it. I mean if we both win out do we not finish ahead of them.

Can we trade Cam't Thomas to them for a conditional 10th round draft pick???

We do. I believe the Ravens winning tonight would actually be beneficial down the road in terms of seeding.

    :lolol:

Sure, let's give it a shot!

I think this hurts them a lot. You don't just simply replace a guy like Ngata with the next man up. It's like Gradkowski coming in for Ben. Big blow for them.

FWIW, that still leaves the Bengals in the lead for now. A lot can and will happen in the next four weeks so it's not that important but I'm just sayin....

You had me until rest of the division winning. Cleveland is falling apart .. I don't think they stand a chance against the colts with the QB controversy and Brian Hoyer is just plain sucking right now

This actually isn't a good thing. We need Baltimore to beat Miami. Baltimore isn't as much of a threat to our playoff chances as Miami is.

I want the division, I don't want to rely on a wild card, too many variables.

We can still win the division even if Baltimore wins. But chances are were going to be playing for the wild card, so we might as well hope for a Baltimore win now

Let's assume the Pats, Colts and Broncos are getting in. That means there are the Bengals at 8-3-1, the Chargers at 8-4, six teams including the Steelers at 7-5 and the Texans at 6-6. Nine teams competing for 3 playoff spots. With that many teams, the Steelers might have to win all 4 games just to get in. 10-6 might not be good enough to get a playoff spot like in 2005. (which coincidentally, we had the same record at this point in the season and ended up going on a run and winning it all!)

As it stands this very second according to an ESPN simulator we have a 20% chance of making the playoffs. I'm not liking those odds. I hope they are wrong.

Those odds will improve if the Steelers win this weekend. Of course, the opposite is true as well.

But you have to look at the games coming up as well. Baltimore has JAX at home, HOU on the road, and CLE at home. I would say they have a better than 50/50 chance of sweeping those games. JAX is a given, HOU could be tricky, but if they are up for a playoff spot they are going to roll Cleveland. Miami on the other hand if they beat Baltimore has the Vikings and Jets at home - good chance they win those, but they have an almost assured loss to the Pats up in New England. So the way I look at it, is you might as well root for the Dolphins.

I am not absolutely certain, but I still think 10-6 gets the Steelers in if they win their AFC games. I do agree that Miami has an edge on the Steelers if they finish tied - but to me it is more of a threat if the Ravens win because they have a pretty easy schedule after playing the Fins.

100 scenarios could happen in these last 4 games. Pittsburgh wins this week they will gain ground on baltimore or miami, cincinnati, Buffalo or Denver, etc. etc. All Pittsbugh needs to do is win 4 and clinch their division. No need to scoreboard watch yet they control their own destiny.....

At this point, I'm happy to even have the 20% odds.

I coudn't believe it when I heard it, I mean how
stupid are these football players? Never mind I know. The Ravens just lost a helluva football player. Quick question, if you are his team mate
how do you approach this bonehead who may have taken MONEY out of your pocket?
