With Blount gone Bell should tell the Court " Blount made me do it, he even put a gun to my head and said drive, I had no choice!!"

If Chargers are dropped, and it is a first time offense would he get suspended, I'm not sure?

On the other hand DUI is pretty serious, and I assume the NFL FO would want to take a hard stance?

Not that I want Blount back, but Blounts charge is still ongoing, so if suspended, it would not be at the same time. Blounts could very likely be next year.

Too bad he couldn't have missed the same last 2 games Ben did.

He has a bad lawyer. In PA. that case could have been granted a continuance and waived the preliminary hearing. Instead though, someone convinced him to cop out and take a plea, so as to shut it down quickly. Here in PA. that DUI charge may be taken off of your criminal record, but it will remain on his driving record for 10 years, then expunged, as long as it doesn't happen again.

Bell can't be suspended this season because the plea bargain won't actually be finalized until February, and the NFL won't suspend him until the court case is finalized.
