Great point. I mean the rules are stacked against anyone playing good defense, so if at least you can make some turnovers, you can win.

Saints today are a perfect example. Give up 32 points, over 500 yards, but made the turnovers and that's why they won and the Steelers lost.

Still not giving up. Cincy is due to get beat the way they are playing, and remember- we run the table, we are division champs.

I saw Ben throw 2 int`s, and I will only blame him on the one he threw into double coverage, in the end zone...

He was trying too hard, and he should know better...

The batted ball at the line, was a good play by them...

I seem to recall only one chance where our DB's who have terrible hands didn't make a catch. But I think this is symptomatic over the last few years of not having a pass rush. A QB like Brees, you have to pressure him into making mistakes. That didn't happen.

 

how many years will we need to find 2cbs 2 safeties a nose tackle and 2 olb ?

Seriously? Is Tomlin the only one with input on who gets drafted? There's no other coaches, GMs, owners that have a say? Oh yeah, it's much easier to blame Tomlin for everything!

 

i would add colbert but with cowher he was drafting well on defense so i 'm not so sure .. anyway we need a fresh mind defensive coach too otherwise the years will get longer
