Obviously, there were mistakes made today, we have to acknowledge and accept that. Obviously, we expected Archer to get a first down in that situation, obviously. Obviously, we expected Bryant to catch more than just one ball today as well. Obviously.

    1. He has incredible speed.
    2. Mr. OC is w-a-a-a-y-y too stupid to get him the ball in space (run up the middle, really!?!?!??!)
    3. Misuse him, then say. "he couldn't produce.".
    4. He produces somewhere else, for another MR. OC that has a brain.
    5. Almost any moron could design plays to get him yardage. Almost.

Archer is fast, but he's small. He goes down when someone exhales on him.

So that we can run him up the middle on 3rd down and 1 yard to go for a first down.

We do have a tendency to waste players talent, just look at Sanders in Denver, he could have been a star receiver here but we cant put players in the right position to utilize their talent, so until they give Archer a role to play he cant become a relevant player getting 1 play a game, on another team where Archer would actually be used as a role player he probably could be rookie of the year, but here, there's no chance of him being developed into the player he has the skills to be...

I just don't know why we keep drafting these types of RB's. We have Bell, we don't need a Sproles type player. We need about 100 other things though

Great point. As much as I despise the pats and believe me my hatred runs deep. I can't stop but wonder what they would do with the talent we have on O. Brady makes Amendola and Edelman look like world beaters. Scary to think what he could do with AB and Wheaton and Bryant a year from now.

Brady has more than 0.2 seconds to throw the ball

I'm not going to get suckered into this argument because I hate Brady with a passion so I don't want to back him but I will say ,he gets rid of the ball when he has to whether it's 0.2 or 9.2 and it's usually on time and target...just sayin'

I thought maybe we could use him on punt returns, and quit taking a chance of getting our #1 reciever hurt there?

    Guess not...

He didn't early in the season. Did you watch the Pats games, that Oline was horrid. They did trade away their best lineman. They made adjustments though and now that Oline looks very solid. It's not like it's a bunch of pro-bowlers on that line, but Brady does things to give himself more time, and when he doesn't have it, he gets rid of the ball. Then there's Belichek, he seems to always get the most out of his players.

He was drafted for the Dexter McCluster factor in Haley's offense. Because this team has a major need in the secondary I was not happy with the pick, a 3rd at that. If he makes a couple of plays going forward, the dogs will be called off. For now, it looks like a wasted pick.

This is an easy one. He is an insurance policy who knows the plays at running back. In case Bell needs a break or something.

I would not write off Archer yet. Kent State was playing under a first year coach last season and their offense was kind of a mess. Archer could get by on his athletic ability but in the pros that's not going to fly. Like with another Kent State alumni, James Harrison it depends on how hard he wants to study and work.
