Any news on Kiesel ????

He is half our defence..

 

I saw some tweets where there was speculation it could be a career ending injury. Just speculation at this point, though.

 

During the game they talked about a tricep injury. If it's torn, he probably done. If not, who knows, there's a chance he's back. But really, how much career does he have left after the next 4 games?

 

I really hope that he is OK...but I knew that we were gonna need Mauro and now we have loss them both

 

Without Kiesel we are done for the year..

 

mauro had already two sacks in 5 quarters .. tomlin and colbert were just too stubborn to cut thomas after they brought him in free agency , now we lose kiesel for season and we don't have the replacement ..and thomas will play even more ... tomlin is just not able to coach a team .period

 

I agree. Letting Mauro walk away will bite us bad now. Oh well, obviously, the standard is the standard...obviously.

That is a huge blow to our best DL to date this year...Wow just wow ...At least oor High School Team is headed to the 4th. round ....I think they could move the ball on this Defense ,,,esp. now the big man is out...

 

Wow, just amazing the way the roster moves have worked out for this team.....

Now you literally have absolutely nothing in the way of DE on the practice squad to even call up, other than a guy you just signed last week. Amazing!


Glad Landry Jones is on the 53 though. Really need that 3rd QB over DB's and DE's!

I had just commented to my wife that he was having s gods game.

 

This is all about talent evaluation and protecting the teams risk. Hmm Tomlin can you stand up or just say next man up..

 

Got to give props to him this year... him and Harrison are the sole reason we aren't bottom of the league this year. Keisel's leadership helped guide the ship and raise our level of play. Never have seen him be so much a vocal leader this year, it was cool to see.

 

i would keep him as a defensive line ass coach .. his leadership is needed

 

We are are done for the year without him last 4 games : 1-3

 

He was the last player that we had that played with heart besides James. My hats goes off to this player.

 

Yeah, I don't know what's been going on, but some of (if not most of) the roster decisions the past 5 years or so have been brutal. No depth pretty much anywhere and yet we choose to keep mediocre to poor veterans on our team just because they know the system.

Yeah, it was very cool to see, which leads to the post below about being a future assistant coach. What Keisel did this year was nothing short of amazing.

I would offer him a coaching spot the minute his contract expires.

 

Wish we had more Keisel's and Aaron Smith's on this team...

I really hope we see a healthy diet of Tuitt and McCullers. Need to find out what we have for next year to determine what we need to draft. My first and second picks right now would focus on the defensive backfield...
