Looks like he is going to sign with the Pats* I hope when we play them Timmons and Harrison beat the hell out of him forcing 2 or 3 fumbles and recoveries by us

I think the guy on our team that really dislikes him the most is Pouncey. He has been very vocal about how he feels about him. There were reports that one player said they should just leave him in Nashville and I would almost bet it was Pouncey.

Ive also read/heard that there were concerns from fellow players about his (negative) influence on Bell. Im guessing there is more to the story than he just walked off of the field. Seems that there has been something brewing and Monday's incident was just the straw that broke the camels back.

So the Patriots thought he wasn't worth keeping and cut him. then he becomes available in the latter half of the next season, and they sign him?

Yep. Evil Bill clearly sees Pittsburgh as a threat and is going to milk Blount for all the info he's worth.

Blount will be gone in February. ;)

Makes sense, Pouncey stands by Aaron Hernandez, but LaGarrette Blount crosses the line.

I read the story that NFL.com ran about Pouncey and maybe I am not reading between the lines but nothing in the article seemed to say Blount was a locker room problem. I mean blessing in disguise, guys that want to be here and guys that don't but nothing credited to Pouncey as saying he was a problem and I'm glad they booted him. Let's face it he isn't known for not speaking his mind. I think there is a lot happening behind closed doors that we don't know about yet.

I read a story on The Blaze that actually quoted Pouncey as saying he was a problem. I was just guessing that it was Pouncey who supposedly said they should have left him in Nashville.

The Pats got him back for a two year minimum contract plus incentives as opposed to the $1,925,000 he was going to make in Pittsburgh. They get a good deal and Blount cost himself a lot of money.

They didn't cut him, he was a free agent and the Steelers outbid the Pats for his services. Now they get him for less than they were willing to pay last spring.

At least he won't be around to be a bad influence on Bell anymore, good riddance.
